A few things before i go...

Yes, it has been a while. Yes, much has happened. Such as:

Halley Lyn's 10th birthday trip to southern Oregon!!
We had a fantastic time swimming, riding horses, Black Bear Diner, playing FARKLE, watching The Incredibles, and visiting with cousins.

my  favorite of Hal.

Our beautiful cascades.

And then...

Sarah's bithday celebration to Pikes Place!! (we were kind of morning-eyed in this pic)

Our favorite French Bakery ~ Le Panier

Then to our favorite cafe ~ Pink Door

My amazing cornish hen, cooked under a brick!!!

The rose water mocktini. Food was amazing!

See, it ain't called Pink Door for nothing!

Gospel quartet made us smile.

Mikaela and the pig.

Pier 59

The cheery organ that played for us.

The gum wall. (of course)

We kinda were grossed out.

Then we laughed at our attempt of being grossed out.

Statute lady.

From the top of Lowells, my Great x3 grandaddy's restaurant.

I really do have the best friends in these girls. It was a very happy day.

I am in my last days at home before I leave for Florida, then, for Europe. God has been so gracious to me, and i am so excited to see how He leads me through this summer. All for His glory and honor. All for His praise and His majesty. I pray that He works mightily in and through Sarah, Charae and I as we go.

"As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. Whoever speaks, is to do so as one who is speaking the utterances of God; whoever serves is to do so as one who is serving by the strength which God supplies; so that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belongs the glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen."
{1 Peter 4:10-11}

  1. Blessed to have you as a friend! You took some great pictures--I laughed at how you just *had* to title that the one picture as "Mikaela and the pig." ;-)

  2. What a wonderful, wonderful day! I love how we all are in height order on the last pictures. (-; I'm so grateful for the friendship the Lord has brought between us, and will be praying for your upcoming fan-tabulous travels!

The Word of God I think of as a straight edge, which shows up our own crookedness. We can't really tell how crooked our thinking is until we line it up with the straight edge of Scripture. ~ E. Elliot

What we say affects our eternal destiny.

Please comment with these in mind, and I look forward to your encouraging and edifying comments!
