{ten questions}

Do you ever have to make decisions that you consider hard or difficult? I do. Perhaps they seem small and insignificant and you don't think anything about your choice...until you later regret it. Been there, done that. It surely does not say in the Bible to simply regard those choices as they seem {insignificant} and just think about the large, more potentially damaging decisions. It extends to everything.

{"Because, whatever you do, eating or drinking or anything else, everything should be done to bring glory to God."}
                                                     ~ 1 Corinthians 10:31; Philips Version

So...without further ado...

Ten questions to make any choice easy:

{1} Will it be spiritually profitable?

{2} Will it build myself and others up?

{3} Will it slow me down in the race?

{4} Will it bring me into bondage?

{5} Will it hypocritically cover my sin?

{6} Will it violate the Lordship of Christ in my life?

{7} Will it help other Christians by its example?

{8} Will it lead others to Christ?

{9} Will it be consistent with Christlikeness?

{10} Will it glorify God?

Now i shall go eat a pan of brownies. Perhaps not profitable, but certainly delicious!

The Word of God I think of as a straight edge, which shows up our own crookedness. We can't really tell how crooked our thinking is until we line it up with the straight edge of Scripture. ~ E. Elliot

What we say affects our eternal destiny.

Please comment with these in mind, and I look forward to your encouraging and edifying comments!
